Job Purpose:

As a Finance Controller in our company, you will oversee all financial activities to ensure the financial health and integrity of the organization. You will play a pivotal role in managing financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and accounting operations to support our strategic goals and operational efficiency.

Responsibilities:

1. Financial Planning and Strategy:

- Develop financial strategies aligned with the company's objectives and monitor their implementation.

- Prepare financial forecasts and budgets, and analyze variances to ensure financial stability.

- Provide strategic recommendations to senior management based on financial analysis and projections.

2. Strategic Planning and Execution:

- Collaborate with executive leadership to define and execute strategic initiatives that support long-term growth and profitability.

- Conduct strategic reviews and analyses to assess market trends, competitive dynamics, and business opportunities.

- Drive the development of business plans, financial models, and investment strategies to capitalize on growth opportunities.

3. Financial Reporting and Analysis:

- Oversee the preparation of financial statements and reports in compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.

- Conduct financial analysis, interpret trends, and provide insights to support decision-making processes.

- Monitor financial performance and report on key metrics to management and stakeholders.

4. Risk Management and Compliance:

- Implement and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure accuracy of financial data.

- Manage risk assessment and mitigation strategies related to financial operations.

- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations and liaise with auditors and regulatory authorities as needed.

5. Cash Flow Management:

- Manage cash flow planning and ensure availability of funds for ongoing operations and investment needs.

- Optimize working capital and liquidity management to support business growth and mitigate financial risks.

6. Financial Operations and Systems:

- Oversee accounting functions including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger.

- Evaluate and enhance financial systems and processes to streamline operations and improve efficiency.

- Implement financial policies and procedures to maintain transparency and accountability across the organization.

Qualifications:

- Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; MBA or CPA preferred.

- In-depth knowledge of financial principles, practices, and regulations.

- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.

- Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.

- Proficiency in financial management software and advanced MS Excel skills.

Experience:

- Proven experience (15+ years) as a Finance Controller, preferably in the manufacturing or renewable energy sector

Mandatory Education:

- CA with a specialization in Finance.
