Finance Controller - Manufacturing

Role Summary:

We are seeking a seasoned finance professional to take full ownership of plant-level financial operations at our Naidupet manufacturing facility. This is a leadership role, responsible for driving financial governance, cost control, statutory compliance, and business partnering across plant functions.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead end-to-end financial management for the Naidupet plant, including cost accounting, budgeting, forecasting, and P&L oversight

- Monitor and analyze key cost drivers; implement cost control initiatives in alignment with plant leadership

- Ensure accurate inventory valuation, GRN control, and stock reconciliation

- Prepare and review monthly MIS reports, operational KPIs, and variance analyses for senior management

- Drive timely month-end closing activities and coordination with corporate finance teams

- Ensure compliance with all statutory requirements GST, TDS, and plant-specific financial audits

- Oversee internal control frameworks, risk assessment, and ensure full audit readiness

- Support capex evaluations, cost-benefit analysis, and liaise with cross-functional teams for financial planning

- Lead, mentor, and develop a small on-site finance team

Candidate Profile:

- Qualified CA / CMA with 810 years of experience in plant finance roles, preferably in manufacturing, FMCG, or process industries

- Strong command over cost accounting, inventory control, and factory operations finance

- Proficient in SAP (or other ERP), Excel, and data analysis

- Hands-on, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a high-responsibility, standalone plant finance role

- Ability to work cross-functionally with operations, procurement, and corporate teams

- Prior experience managing plant audits and leading financial compliance preferred
