Job Description:
We are looking for a detail-oriented Finance Controller to manage month-end closing, GST compliance, SAP-based financial operations, and reporting for a manufacturing company. The ideal candidate should have strong accounting knowledge, hands-on SAP experience, and the ability to work in a promoter-driven business environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing activities.
- Handle GST compliance, including GST returns, reconciliations, and input tax credit verification.
- Work on SAP for accounting, financial reporting, and transaction processing.
- Ensure accurate maintenance of books of accounts, general ledger, and balance sheet schedules.
- Perform bank, vendor, customer, and intercompany reconciliations.
- Support statutory audits, internal audits, and tax assessments.
- Monitor accounts payable, accounts receivable, and working capital.
- Prepare financial statements, MIS reports, and management dashboards.
- Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards, taxation, and statutory requirements.
- Coordinate with internal departments and management for timely financial reporting.
Required Qualifications & Skills:
- Qualified CA or CMA.
- 2-3 years of relevant experience in finance and accounting, preferably in the manufacturing industry.
- Hands-on experience with SAP, preferably SAP FICO.
- Strong knowledge of GST, GST reconciliations, and statutory compliance.
- Good understanding of month-end closing and financial reporting.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently in a promoter-driven organization.
- Willingness to travel as per business requirements.
