What You'll Own:

Finance, Audit & Compliance:

- Lead statutory, internal, and tax audits end-to-end, ensuring timely sign-offs

- Design and implement robust internal controls and risk management frameworks

- Own compliance with GST, Direct Tax, Companies Act, and other relevant laws

- Oversee accounting accuracy: AP, AR, revenue, reconciliations, asset tracking

- Manage ledgers, sub-GL reconciliations, aging reports, and month-end schedules

Reporting & Strategic Finance:

- Drive timely month-end closures and deliver accurate MIS and dashboards

- Analyze and present financial statements, balance sheets, and key indicators

- Anticipate business needs and deliver actionable insights to leadership

- Ensure financial reporting meets regulatory and internal standards

Debt & Fundraising:

- Drive debt fundraising initiatives with banks, NBFCs, and financial institutions

- Manage end-to-end process of term sheet negotiation, documentation, and compliance

- Maintain lender relationships and manage ongoing covenant tracking and reporting

Due Diligence & Investor Readiness:

- Lead financial due diligence processes for investors, lenders, and partners

- Prepare and maintain data rooms, financial models, and compliance documentation

-Collaborate with external advisors and internal stakeholders for smooth execution

Tax & Regulatory:

- Support direct and indirect tax filings, compliance, and audit readiness

- Collaborate with tax advisors on assessments, reconciliations, and reporting

- Partner with the Company Secretary on regulatory and FEMA compliance

Accounts Payable & Receivable:

- Lead and streamline AP/AR operations

- Drive automation and process improvements

- Ensure accuracy, timeliness, and reconciliations across payment cycles

Who You Are:

- Qualified Chartered Accountant with 7-10 years of relevant experience

- Proven track record of raising debt from banks/NBFCs and managing ongoing compliance

- Hands-on experience in managing financial due diligence and working with external advisors

- Deep understanding of accounting, tax, audit, and company law compliance

- Analytical mindset with strong attention to detail and accuracy

- Strong communicator and cross-functional collaborator

- Leadership experience with ability to manage and grow a high-performing finance team

- Comfortable in a fast-paced, high-growth startup environment
