Role Overview:

We are seeking a seasoned Finance Controller to join our leadership team in Koramangala, Bangalore, to oversee the financial health and strategic direction of our gold, jewellery, and NBFC operations. In this role, you will serve as the financial backbone of the organization, bridging the gap between complex manufacturing accounting and the regulatory rigors of the NBFC sector. You will work closely with the Board of Directors, operational heads, and external auditors to ensure fiscal discipline, optimize capital allocation, and drive sustainable growth. Your impact will be felt across the entire business, as you transform financial data into actionable insights that safeguard our assets, ensure seamless compliance, and fuel our expansion in the competitive precious metals and lending markets.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead the end-to-end financial reporting and consolidation process to provide the leadership team with accurate, timely, and transparent insights into business performance.

- Direct the annual budgeting and long-term financial planning cycles to align resource allocation with the company's strategic growth objectives.

- Establish and maintain robust internal control frameworks to mitigate operational risks and ensure the integrity of financial transactions across jewellery manufacturing and lending verticals.

- Manage the entire statutory audit process and regulatory compliance landscape, ensuring the organization adheres to all NBFC-specific guidelines and IFRS standards.

- Oversee treasury functions and banking operations to optimize liquidity, manage credit risk, and ensure efficient working capital management.

- Conduct deep-dive financial analysis and costing reviews to improve margins in jewellery manufacturing and enhance the profitability of our credit portfolios.

Required Skillset:

- Demonstrated expertise in managing complex financial ecosystems, specifically within the gold, jewellery, or NBFC sectors, with a proven ability to navigate industry-specific accounting nuances.

- Strong proficiency in financial control, risk management, and treasury operations, supported by a deep understanding of IFRS and regulatory compliance frameworks.

- Exceptional analytical capabilities to translate raw financial data into strategic narratives that influence executive decision-making.

- Proven track record of leading high-performing finance teams and collaborating effectively with cross-functional stakeholders, including investors and regulatory bodies.

- Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate complex financial concepts to non-finance stakeholders clearly and persuasively.

- Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) with 8 - 20 years of progressive experience in finance leadership roles.

- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, on-site work environment in Koramangala, Bangalore, demonstrating high adaptability to evolving business needs.
