Finance Controller - Footwear Industry - CA

Job Title: Finance Controller

Location: Gurgaon, Haryana

Industry: Footwear / Manufacturing / Retail

Qualification: Chartered Accountant (CA)

Experience: Minimum 10-15 years post-qualification, with proven experience in managing finance for organizations with a turnover of - 750 Crores or more.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Financial Planning & Control

- Lead the budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes.

- Monitor performance against budget and provide variance analysis.

- Ensure cost optimization and margin protection.

2. Accounting & Compliance

- Ensure accurate and timely closing of books as per Indian GAAP & Ind-AS.

- Oversee statutory audits, tax filings (Direct & Indirect), and compliance with regulatory bodies.

- Manage working capital, receivables, payables, and cash flow effectively.

3. Strategic Support

- Partner with senior management for long-term financial strategy and business expansion.

- Provide financial insights for business decisions, pricing strategy, and product profitability.

4. Treasury & Fund Management

- Manage banking relationships and ensure optimal fund utilization.

- Ensure availability of funds for operational and capex needs.

5. Team Leadership

- Lead and mentor the finance & accounts team.

- Build strong internal controls and process improvements.

6. MIS & Reporting

- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for internal and external stakeholders.

- Present reports to the Board/CXO level on financial health and recommendations.

Key Requirements:

- Chartered Accountant (CA) with strong academic background.

- 10-15 years of post-qualification experience in manufacturing/retail/FMCG sectors.

- Must have worked in a company with - 750 Cr+ turnover.

- Proficient in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar).

- Strong analytical, leadership, and business partnering skills.

- Excellent knowledge of taxation, compliance, and financial regulations.
