Finance Controller - FMCG - CA

We are looking for a Chartered Accountant (CA) with 5+ years of post-qualification experience to lead our finance function. This role involves managing accounting operations, strengthening internal controls, and ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting, while leading a team in a dynamic business environment.

Experience working with FMCG/FMCD/Startup is a must

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Reporting & Closures:

- Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closures with accuracy and timeliness

- Prepare and present management reports and financial insights

- Ensure integrity and accuracy of financial statements

Accounting & Internal Controls:

- Establish and enhance robust internal controls and governance frameworks

- Ensure adherence to accounting standards and company policies

- Identify process gaps and implement scalable, efficient solutions

Compliance & Audits:

- Ensure compliance with statutory regulations (GST, TDS, Companies Act, etc.)

- Coordinate with internal and external auditors

- Maintain audit readiness and proper documentation

Team Management:

- Lead and manage a team of 3+ members

- Drive performance, mentoring, and team development

- Ensure effective delegation and accountability

Cash Flow & Working Capital:

- Manage cash flow planning and forecasting

- Optimize working capital cycles

- Oversee receivables and payables management

Process Improvement:

- Design and implement SOPs for finance operations

- Drive automation and process efficiency initiatives

- Build scalable finance systems to support business growth

Qualifications & Skills:

- Chartered Accountant (CA) with 5+ years of post-qualification experience

- Strong expertise in accounting, financial controls, and reporting

- Proven experience in team management

- FMCG or startup experience preferred

- Strong analytical skills and high attention to detail
