Role Overview:

As the Finance Controller, you will be a critical leader in the finance department, responsible for overseeing all financial activities, ensuring accuracy and compliance, and providing strategic financial guidance to support the company's growth. You will work closely with the senior management, and various department heads to develop and implement financial strategies, manage budgets, and provide insightful financial analysis. Your expertise will directly impact the company's financial health, enabling informed decision-making and driving sustainable profitability.

Key Responsibilities:

- Oversee all aspects of financial reporting, ensuring timely and accurate preparation of financial statements in accordance with GAAP and other regulatory requirements, to provide stakeholders with a clear and reliable view of the company's financial performance.

- Develop and manage the annual budget process, collaborating with department heads to create realistic and achievable budgets that align with the company's strategic goals, to ensure efficient resource allocation and financial accountability.

- Conduct in-depth financial analysis, including variance analysis, trend analysis, and profitability analysis, to identify areas for improvement and provide actionable insights to management for informed decision-making.

- Develop and maintain financial models to forecast future financial performance, assess the impact of various business scenarios, and support strategic planning initiatives, to enable proactive decision-making and mitigate potential risks.

- Implement and maintain a robust system of internal controls to safeguard company assets, ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, and prevent fraud, to protect the company's financial integrity and reputation.

- Manage the company's risk management program, identifying and assessing financial risks, developing mitigation strategies, and monitoring risk exposures, to minimize potential financial losses and ensure business continuity.

- Lead and mentor a team of finance professionals, providing guidance, training, and development opportunities to foster a high-performing and engaged team, to ensure the finance department operates effectively and efficiently.

- Partner with external auditors and tax advisors to ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations, to maintain the company's good standing and avoid potential penalties.

Required Skillset:

- Demonstrated expertise in financial analysis, financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, financial modeling, risk management, financial control, and financial planning.

- Proven ability to develop and implement financial strategies that align with business objectives and drive financial performance.

- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data and provide actionable insights.

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate financial information to both financial and non-financial audiences.

- Demonstrated leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team of finance professionals.

- CA mandatory

- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, adapting quickly to changing priorities and deadlines.
