Finance Controller for FMCG co. based at Ahmedabad

Description:

The Finance Controller will be responsible for overseeing various financial activities and ensuring accurate reporting and analysis. They will play a key role in P&L report preparation and presentation, GAAP entry preparation, provision checking and variance analysis, Korea Report PL & BS & COGM preparation, LE reporting, monthly management reporting, and more. This role requires collaboration with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to deliver timely and accurate financial information.

Job Responsibilities:

- Prepare and present monthly P&L reports, variance analysis, collaborating with Sales MIS, DF, Purchase, Legal, IT, and Marketing teams for provision accounting.

- Handle GAAP accounting, Corporate accounting, and corporate finance accounting, preparation on a monthly basis.

- Assist in Annual Budgeting and estimated financials preparation and presentation.

- Monthly & quarterly P&L, BS & COGM reporting and variance analysis.

- Deliver monthly management presentations with investment, cash flow, and business plan updates.

- Assist monthly factory closing process, ensuring provision accuracy, and assessing cost implications before closing.

- Participate in meetings, discussions, and query resolution related to financial matters.

- Engage in quarterly audit query discussions and finalization with external audit.

- Assist in statutory audit reporting and finalization on a yearly basis.

- Handling cost saving project, reporting and presentation.

- Responsible for end to end finance operations for accounts payable and accounts receivable.

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).

- Professional certification such as CPA, CMA, or CA.

- 10+ years of experience in finance management or related roles.

- In-depth knowledge of financial principles, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements.

- Strong proficiency in financial analysis, forecasting, and budgeting.

- Excellent leadership and team management skills.

- Advanced proficiency in financial software and ERP systems.

- Experience with SAP implementation and monitoring is a plus.
