Role: Finance Controller / Finance Leadership Role

Role Summary:

We are looking for a finance professional to lead financial control, accounting governance, and reporting for a listed organization. The role will be responsible for ensuring strong accounting hygiene, accurate financial reporting, statutory compliance, and supporting management with financial insights for strategic decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Control & Reporting (Listed Company Environment):

- Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting in compliance with Ind AS, SEBI LODR, and other regulatory requirements.

- Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closures, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and audit readiness.

- Maintain strong accounting discipline and hygiene, including reconciliations, provisions, and documentation.

- Drive implementation and monitoring of internal controls, accounting policies, and finance processes.

- Coordinate with statutory auditors, internal teams, and management to ensure smooth audit execution and closure of audit observations.

- Support preparation of Board presentations, investor updates, and earnings-related financial information.

MIS & Business Finance:

- Review and analyze monthly MIS and financial performance.

- Support capex planning, ROI evaluation, and financial modeling for business initiatives.

- Identify opportunities for cost optimization, margin improvement, and finance process automation.

Candidate Profile:

- Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) with 8-12 years of post-qualification experience.

- Experience in finance / controllership roles in a listed consumer goods or manufacturing company.

- Strong understanding of Ind AS, SEBI regulations, and corporate governance frameworks.

- Proven experience in accounts oversight, financial controllership, and reporting.

- Exposure to SAP or similar ERP systems preferred.

- Demonstrated career stability and strong stakeholder management skills.
