Finance Controller - Finance & Accounts - SaaS

About the role:

We are looking for a Finance Controller for a fast-growing, technology-led organization based in Gurgaon. This is a hands-on role with end-to-end ownership of core finance operations and an opportunity to build and strengthen processes as the business scales.

Key Responsibilities:

- Own day-to-day finance operations across accounts payable, accounts receivable, invoicing and collections.

- Drive timely collections and closely monitor outstanding receivables and DSO.

- Manage accurate and timely client invoicing, including GST-compliant billing.

- Prepare monthly MIS and management dashboards covering revenue, receivables, payables and cash flows.

- Track and reconcile subscription/usage data against billing records.

- Support the financial aspects of client renewals and identify revenue-at-risk accounts.

- Prepare periodic financial and compliance reports for leadership, auditors and other stakeholders.

- Strengthen finance processes, controls and reporting systems as the organization scales.

- Work closely with Sales, Customer Success and Leadership teams.

Candidate Profile:

- 5 - 8 years of experience in Finance & Accounts.

- Strong hands-on exposure to billing, collections, accounts payable and MIS/reporting.

- Experience in a B2B SaaS/subscription-based business would be preferred.

- Strong understanding of GST, TDS and statutory compliances.

- Experience with accounting/ERP platforms such as Zoho Books, Tally or similar.

- Qualification: Bachelor's/Master's in Commerce, Finance or Accounting; CA (Inter/Qualified), CMA or MBA Finance preferred.

- Comfortable working independently in a lean, fast-paced and high-ownership environment.
