Key Responsibilities:
1. Financial Planning & Strategy:
- Develop and execute financial strategies to optimize business growth and profitability.
- Lead annual budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes.
- Provide strategic financial insights to leadership for decision-making.
2. Financial Control & Compliance:
- Oversee and be hands-on on financial controls, policies, and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements (GST, TDS, FEMA, CST, etc.).
- Manage statutory audits, internal audits, and tax filings in coordination with auditors and consultants.
- Ensure timely and accurate VAT filings and adherence to local and international tax laws.
3. Accounting & Reporting:
- Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting, including P&L, balance sheets, cash flow statements, and reconciliations.
- Monitor and optimize working capital, receivables, and payables.
- Implement strong financial governance and internal control measures.
4. Cost & Risk Management:
- Assess financial risks and develop mitigation strategies.
- Optimize cost structures and improve operational efficiencies.
- Monitor cash flow and liquidity management to ensure financial stability.
5. Business Partnering & Decision Support:
- Work closely with department heads and senior leadership to align financial and operational goals.
- Support financial negotiations, investment planning, and business expansion strategies.
- Provide financial modelling and scenario analysis for business decisions.
6. Team Leadership & Systems Improvement:
- Lead and mentor the finance team, fostering a culture of excellence and accountability.
- Enhance financial systems, automation, and ERP implementation for improved efficiency.
- Drive continuous improvements in financial reporting, analytics, and business intelligence.
7. Corporate Governance & Statutory Compliance:
- Coordinate with the Company Secretary for statutory, regulatory, and ROC compliance matters and ensure timely submission of required documents.
- Support board, audit, and corporate governance processes by providing financial information and maintaining compliance-related records.
Key Skills & Qualifications:
Education:
- CA / CS / MBA in Finance / CFA / CPA or equivalent qualification.
Experience:
- 10+ years in financial management, controlling, or leadership roles.
Expertise:
- Strong knowledge of IFRS, GAAP, and financial regulations.
- Hands-on experience with financial reporting, P&L management, and compliance.
- Proficiency in ERP systems, financial software, and advanced Excel.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and leadership abilities.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
