Key Responsibilities:
1. Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A):
- Lead annual budgeting, quarterly forecasting, and long-range planning processes.
- Prepare and track P&L, balance sheet, cash flow, and variance analysis across business units.
- Deliver actionable insights on revenue, margins, costs, supply chain efficiencies, and productivity.
- Build financial models to support strategic decision-making for category, operations, and growth teams.
2. Controllership & Financial Governance
- Ensure accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closure.
- Strengthen internal controls, compliance, and audit readiness across finance operations.
- Oversee accounting processes, revenue recognition, GRN, reconciliations, payables, receivables, and inventory accounting.
- Drive process automation, system improvements, and policy standardization.
3. Business Partnering
- Work closely with category, operations, supply chain, warehouse, and growth teams to drive P&L ownership.
- Provide financial insights on pricing, discounting, promotions, marketplace commission structures, and unit economics.
- Support decision-making for new initiatives, product launches, and city / warehouse expansions.
4. Reporting & MIS
- Own monthly management reports, dashboards, and financial health reviews.
- Present key business trends, risk areas, and improvement levers to senior leadership.
- Track KPIs including contribution margin, CAC, fulfilment cost per order, customer profitability,
and working capital cycles.
5. Compliance & Audit
- Ensure statutory, internal, and tax audits are completed smoothly.
- Maintain compliance with all regulatory requirements (GST, TDS, IND-AS, etc.).
- Oversee vendor settlement cycles and ensure finance controls across procurement and invoicing.
Qualifications & Experience:
- CA with 8+ years of experience in Finance Controllership + FP&A
- Strong understanding of unit economics, contribution margins, and marketplace P&L.
- Hands-on experience with financial modelling, budgeting, forecasting, MIS, and business partnering.
- Knowledge of ERP systems (SAP / Oracle / Net suite), advanced Excel, and reporting tools.
- Excellent analytical skills to identify and solve a wide range of business problems.
- Ability to manage multiple issues and clearly articulate principles, concerns, and solutions for the resolution of those issues.
- Strong leadership and demonstrated ability to manage a team, and ability to work collaboratively with all other functions.
- Strong communication and exhibit excellent professional ethics
