Roles and Responsibilities:

- Lead the controllership function, ensuring accurate financial reporting, timely month-end closures, and adherence to accounting standards.

- Oversee AP and AR operations, driving strong financial controls, efficient collections, and working capital optimization.

- Manage MIS, financial analysis, and reporting frameworks to provide actionable insights and support business decision-making.

- Oversee direct and indirect taxation, including GST, income tax, filings, assessments, and regulatory compliance.

- Drive ERP implementation and optimization, ensuring seamless integration of finance processes, improved data accuracy, and reporting efficiency.

- Strengthen internal controls, audit readiness, and financial governance across the organization.

- Collaborate with auditors, consultants, and cross-functional teams to ensure compliance and timely audit closures.

Skills and Qualifications:

- Chartered Accountant with 4 - 8 years of experience in finance, accounting, and controllership roles.

- Prior experience in consumer industry with exposure to high-volume, transaction-driven environments.

- Startup experience preferred, with exposure to fast-paced, evolving business setups.

- Strong experience in financial reporting, month-end closures, MIS preparation, AP/AR processes, taxation, and audit coordination.

- Familiarity with ERP systems and finance process automation.

- Effective communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams.
