Finance Controller - Climate Tech Business - CA

Key Responsibilities

- Lead end-to-end controllership including accounting, financial reporting, audit management, compliance and treasury.

- Ensure timely closure of monthly, quarterly, and annual financials in line with regulatory and accounting standards.

- Ensure full compliance with Ind-AS, Companies Act, GST, Income Tax and all statutory requirements, while managing statutory, internal, and tax audits.

- Lead process automation, system enhancements, and digital transformation initiatives to improve efficiency of financial processes.

- Oversee treasury operations including cash flow management, working capital discipline, banking relationships, and liquidity planning.

- Partner with business finance, FP&A and plant finance teams to enable smooth financial operations and cross-functional alignment.

- Provide financial insights, risk management, and governance support to senior leadership and influence key decision-making.

Skills and Qualifications

- Chartered Accountant (CA) mandatory, with 9-16 years of experience.

- Extensive exposure to any of the startup or India based P&L.

- Proven experience in controllership, governance, compliance, and financial reporting at scale.

- Deep knowledge of Ind-AS, statutory frameworks, and audit management.

- Strong leadership, stakeholder management, and process excellence capability.
