Role Overview:
We are seeking a seasoned Finance Controller to lead our financial operations in Indore, serving as a strategic partner to the leadership team. In this capacity, you will oversee the integrity of our financial data, drive rigorous internal controls, and ensure seamless financial reporting that guides high-level decision-making. You will work closely with cross-functional department heads and external stakeholders to translate complex financial metrics into actionable business insights. By maintaining robust fiscal discipline and optimizing our reporting frameworks, you will play a pivotal role in safeguarding the companys assets and fueling its long-term sustainable growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Direct the end-to-end financial reporting process to provide the board and executive management with accurate, timely, and transparent insights into company performance.
- Establish and enforce comprehensive internal control frameworks to mitigate operational risks and ensure full compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements.
- Manage the annual budgeting and forecasting cycles, collaborating with department leads to align departmental spending with the broader organizational financial strategy.
- Oversee the integrity of the general ledger and month-end closing processes to ensure all financial statements reflect a true and fair view of the business.
- Lead interactions with external auditors and tax authorities to maintain seamless compliance and resolve complex fiscal queries efficiently.
- Drive the implementation of automated financial systems to enhance reporting accuracy and reduce manual intervention across finance workflows.
Required Skillset:
- Demonstrated expertise in Financial Control and Financial Reporting, with a proven ability to manage complex balance sheets and P&L statements for large-scale operations.
- Exceptional analytical acumen, with the ability to synthesize vast amounts of financial data into clear, strategic narratives for non-finance stakeholders.
- Strong leadership presence, capable of mentoring finance teams and fostering a culture of accountability and precision across the organization.
- Advanced proficiency in ERP systems and financial modeling tools, coupled with a deep understanding of current accounting standards and tax regulations.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration with senior management and external partners to drive business objectives.
- A Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification is preferred, complemented by 10 - 15 years of progressive experience in finance leadership roles.
- Ability to thrive in an on-site work environment in Indore, maintaining high levels of engagement and operational oversight within the office setting.
