Position Summary:

The Finance Controller shall be responsible for leading the complete accounting, financial reporting, Treasury & Banking operations and statutory compliances of the parent Company. The incumbent will lead a large finance team across Corporate Office and manufacturing locations while driving automation, SAP process discipline and best-in-class accounting practices.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Financial Accounting & Controllership:

- Lead end-to-end financial accounting operations of the Company.

- Ensure accurate maintenance of books of accounts in SAP.

- Drive monthly, quarterly and annual financial closing within defined timelines.

- Ensure compliance with Indian Accounting Standards (Ind AS) and Companies Act requirements.

- Prepare standalone financial statements and support consolidation at Group level.

2. Financial Reporting:

- Prepare monthly financial statements and management reports.

- Review Trial Balance, Balance Sheet, Profit & Loss Account and Cash Flow Statements.

- Conduct detailed variance analysis.

- Monitor balance sheet schedules and ageing.

- Present financial performance to CFO.

- Ensure timely submission of MIS to senior management.

3. Banking, Treasury & Cash Flow Management:

- Manage overall treasury operations.

- Daily cash flow planning.

- Working capital management.

- Manage banking relationships.

- Coordinate documentation for banking facilities.

- Supervise LC, BG, Forex and other banking instruments.

- Review banking charges.

- Monitor covenant compliance.

- Support fundraising documentation as required by CFO.

4. Direct & Indirect Tax Compliance:

- Ensure timely GST compliance.

- Supervise Income Tax incl. TDS compliance.

5. SAP & Process Automation:

- Ensure finance process discipline within SAP.

- Improve accounting workflows.

- Drive automation initiatives.

- Strengthen system controls.

- Coordinate with IT for finance developments.

- Eliminate manual interventions.

Desired Candidate Profile:

Qualification:

- Chartered Accountant (Mandatory)

Experience:

- Minimum 10 years of post-qualification experience in Finance & Accounts.

- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in independently leading Accounting and Treasury functions.

- Experience in the manufacturing industry is mandatory.

- Hands-on experience in managing end-to-end financial accounting, treasury, statutory compliances, audits, and financial reporting.

- Strong working knowledge of SAP ERP (S/4HANA preferred).

- Exposure to private equity-backed or professionally managed organisations will be an added advantage.
