Job Description :

Our client is seeking an experienced finance leader to oversee all financial and fiscal management aspects of the region. The role will be responsible for driving financial planning & analysis, taxation, compliance, internal controls, risk management, treasury, and business partnering initiatives to support sustainable growth and profitability.

The ideal candidate will serve as a strategic finance partner to the leadership team, providing actionable insights, ensuring regulatory compliance, and establishing robust financial governance across the organization.

Key Responsibilities :

Financial Planning & Business Partnering :

- Lead regional financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and long-range strategic planning processes.

- Analyze business performance and provide actionable insights to support decision-making and growth initiatives.

- Partner with functional leaders to develop operating plans and monitor key business and financial KPIs.

- Drive performance reviews and recommend corrective actions to improve profitability and operational efficiency.

- Present financial results, forecasts, and business insights to senior leadership.

Financial Analysis & Reporting :

- Conduct periodic financial analysis to assess organizational performance and identify opportunities for improvement.

- Analyze cash flow, working capital, costs, and operating expenses to support business decisions.

- Monitor and evaluate financial statements to identify risks, exposures, and mitigation strategies.

- Ensure timely and accurate preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.

Taxation, Compliance & Governance :

- Ensure full compliance with local tax regulations and statutory requirements.

- Develop and execute effective tax planning strategies for the region.

- Manage relationships with tax authorities, statutory auditors, regulatory bodies, and internal auditors.

- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, corporate policies, and regulatory requirements.

Controls & Risk Management :

- Design, implement, and continuously improve internal control frameworks, policies, and SOPs.

- Strengthen financial governance and risk management practices across the organization.

- Identify financial, operational, and compliance risks and implement mitigation measures.

- Ensure accounting records and book-keeping are maintained in accordance with applicable accounting and auditing standards.

Treasury & Forex Management :

- Manage cash flow planning, liquidity requirements, and working capital optimization.

- Oversee banking relationships and treasury operations.

- Monitor foreign exchange exposures and implement appropriate hedging strategies to minimize risk.

- Foster a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and business partnership.

- Build finance capabilities that support the organization's growth objectives.

Qualifications & Experience :

- Chartered Accountant (CA) preferred.

- Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline.

- 10 - 15 years of progressive finance experience.

- Prior experience within Pharmaceuticals, Consumer Goods, Retail, Healthcare, or FMCG industries.

- Minimum 3 years of experience in a Regional Finance Business Partner, Finance Controller, or equivalent leadership role.

- Strong exposure to FP&A, taxation, compliance, internal controls, treasury, and business finance.

- Experience managing audits, regulatory compliance, and stakeholder relationships.
