Key Responsibilities:

Accounting & Compliance

- Oversee day-to-day accounting operations, ensuring accuracy and adherence to accounting standards (Ind AS/IFRS as applicable).

- Ensure timely compliance with statutory requirements including GST, TDS, PF, ESI, and other applicable laws.

- Monitor internal controls and ensure financial data integrity.

- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of accounting, tax, and regulatory developments.

Financial Reporting

- Prepare and present accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.

- Develop MIS reports to support management decision-making.

- Ensure consolidation of accounts and compliance with audit requirements.

- Liaise with statutory auditors and internal auditors to ensure smooth audit processes.

Budgeting, Forecasting & Analysis

- Lead preparation of annual budgets and rolling forecasts.

- Perform variance analysis and identify reasons for deviations.

- Provide financial projections, sensitivity analysis, and scenario modeling to aid strategic planning.

- Partner with business units to ensure financial targets are realistic and aligned with organizational goals.

Taxation & Advisory

- Oversee direct and indirect tax compliance and filings.

- Provide advisory support on tax planning, assessments, and appeals.

- Ensure transfer pricing compliance (if applicable).

- Advise management on financial structuring, cost optimization, and risk management.

Audit & Risk Management

- Coordinate with statutory, internal, and tax auditors for timely closure of audits.

- Implement risk management practices to safeguard assets and ensure regulatory compliance.

- Support in preparation of board and investor presentations with accurate financial insights.

Financial & Management Consulting

- Act as a strategic advisor to senior management on financial matters.

- Provide insights on business performance, investment opportunities, and cost efficiencies.

- Support in fundraising, investor relations, and financial due diligence activities.

- Benchmark organizational performance against industry peers.

Leadership & Team Supervision

- Lead and mentor the finance & accounts team, ensuring high performance and professional growth.

- Foster a culture of integrity, accountability, and continuous improvement.

- Build cross-functional collaboration with operations, sales, and leadership teams
