We're looking for a business-oriented Finance Controller to own and scale the finance function for a fast-growing, mission-driven organisation. This is not a traditional accounting role - it's for someone who brings financial rigor, commercial judgment, and an ownership mindset to enable decision-making and execution at scale.

What you'll do:

- Own end-to-end finance operations with accountability for accuracy, timelines, and decision-readiness

- Lead AOP preparation, rolling forecasts, MIS, variance analysis, and risk identification

- Manage working capital, cash flows, receivables, and payables to support growth

- Lead statutory and tax audits; ensure compliance across India (and exposure to US preferred)

- Build scalable finance systems, controls, and automation to reduce manual effort

- Build and lead a high-performing finance team with clear ownership

- Partner with leadership, business, and legal teams on contracts, governance, and key decisions

Who you are:

- CA with 5-7+ years of post-qualification experience in fast-growing organisations

- Proven experience owning audits, compliance, and finance operations end-to-end

- Strong analytical skills with advanced Excel proficiency

- Hands-on experience driving process improvement, automation, or system implementation

- Comfortable operating in dynamic, evolving environments with high ownership

Nice to have:

- Experience with multi-entity or India-US structures

- Working knowledge of Zoho Books or similar finance tools

- Prior ownership of AOPs, forecasting, or cash planning
