Finance Controller - CA

Job Summary:

- We are seeking a highly analytical, detail-oriented, and proactive Finance Controller to lead and manage all financial planning, budgeting, compliance, and reporting activities.

- You will be responsible for building strong internal controls, driving financial discipline, and providing strategic financial guidance to support business growth.

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Planning & Analysis:

- Develop, implement, and monitor annual budgets, forecasts, and strategic plans

- Analyze financial performance, provide actionable insights, and highlight variances

- Drive cost optimization strategies across departments

Accounting & Reporting:

- Oversee daily accounting operations and ensure timely closing of books

- Ensure accurate preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements

- Ensure statutory compliance with tax, GST, TDS, and regulatory filings

Controls & Compliance:

- Establish robust internal controls, audit trails, and risk management processes

- Liaise with external auditors, consultants, and regulatory authorities

- Maintain compliance with Indian Accounting Standards (Ind AS)

Cash Flow & Treasury:

- Monitor daily cash flow and working capital requirements

- Manage banking relationships, loan negotiations, and fund allocations

Team Leadership:

- Lead, mentor, and manage the finance and accounts team

- Foster a culture of accountability, accuracy, and continuous improvement

Qualifications & Requirements:

- Education: Chartered Accountant (CA) mandatory; MBA Finance is a plus

- Experience: 7-12 years in financial leadership roles; preference for candidates with experience in FMCG, D2C, or manufacturing

- Strong knowledge of ERP systems (Tally, SAP, or similar)

- Proficiency in financial modeling, MIS, Excel, and data analytics

- High integrity, strategic thinking, and operational excellence mindset

- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
