Job Description:

Qualifications:

- CA / MBA in Finance or equivalent.

- 6 to 9 years of experience in finance, with preference for plant-based or manufacturing roles.

- Experience in Manufacturing or industrial sector preferred.

Responsibilities:

Financial Reporting and Analysis:

- Lead preparation of accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.

- Analyze variances and trends to inform business decisions.

Budgeting and Forecasting:

- Coordinate with plant and corporate teams to build and monitor budgets.

- Prepare rolling forecasts and track performance against targets.

Cost Management:

- Implement cost accounting systems relevant to biofuel production.

- Identify and track cost optimization initiatives across operations.

Compliance and Risk Management:

- Ensure adherence to all tax, GST, and regulatory norms.

- Manage internal controls and support statutory and internal audits.

Cash Flow and Working Capital Management:

- Maintain healthy cash flow by managing receivables, payables, and capex planning.

- Forecast short and long-term cash needs.

Financial Strategy and Business Partnering:

- Support strategic projects including capex expansion, fundraising, and subsidies.

- Provide financial input on contracts, pricing, and growth opportunities.

Team Leadership and Development:

- Mentor and lead the on-site finance team.

- Drive cross-functional financial literacy and discipline.

Systems and Process Enhancement:

- Drive digitization of finance processes (ERP, MIS, dashboards).

- Continuously improve financial processes for plant operations.
