Key Responsibilities:
Financial Reporting & Analysis:
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
- Provide detailed analysis of financial performance and identify trends.
Budgeting & Forecasting:
- Develop and manage the annual budgeting process.
- Prepare financial forecasts and monitor budgetary performance.
- Analyze variances between actual and budgeted figures, proposing corrective actions as needed.
Accounts Management:
- Oversee accounts payable and receivable processes
- Ensure accurate and timely invoicing and collections.
- Manage the reconciliation of bank statements and general ledger accounts.
Compliance & Audit:
- Ensure adherence to internal controls and financial policies.
- Coordinate with external auditors for annual audits.
- Maintain compliance with tax regulations and corporate governance requirements.
Cash Flow Management:
- Monitor and manage cash flow, ensuring adequate liquidity for operations.
- Prepare cash flow forecasts and manage funding requirements.
Financial Strategy & Planning:
- Provide financial insights and strategic recommendations to senior management.
- Assist in the development of financial plans and business strategies.
- Evaluate investment opportunities and perform financial modelling.
Team Leadership:
- Lead and mentor the finance and accounts team.
- Ensure continuous professional development and performance management.
- Foster a culture of financial integrity and accountability.
Technology & Process Improvement:
- Implement and maintain financial systems and Software such as ERP.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and operational efficiencies.
- Stay updated with the latest financial technologies and best practices.
Requirements:
- Chartered Accountant having experience 6-10 years.
- Having working experience in ERP.
- Good Command on Excel.
- Start-up experience would be preferred.
- Should have team handling experience.
- Experience in coordinating audits with Big4 firms
- Strong background in establishing financial processes
- Proven experience in finance and accounts management.
- Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities
- Proficiency in financial software and too
