Finance Controller

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead the finance and accounting function, ensuring accurate and timely financial accounting, reporting, and compliance.

- Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting, including management accounts, P&L, balance sheet, cash flow, and variance analysis.

- Drive budgeting, forecasting, financial planning, and cost-control initiatives across plantation and operational activities.

- Oversee plantation accounting, including crop/biological asset accounting, farm operating costs, inventory, fixed assets, capital expenditure, and cost allocation.

- Monitor working capital and cash flows, including receivables, payables, inventory, and treasury requirements.

- Ensure compliance with Zambian taxation, statutory requirements, accounting standards, and regulatory filings.

- Establish and strengthen internal financial controls, policies, processes, and approval mechanisms.

- Coordinate with external auditors, tax advisors, banks, and other financial stakeholders.

- Provide management with financial analysis, business insights, profitability analysis, and recommendations for decision-making.

- Lead and mentor the finance team and ensure high standards of accuracy, accountability, and financial discipline.
