About the Role:

We are looking for a highly analytical and results-driven Finance Controller to oversee the organization's financial operations, ensure compliance, optimize financial performance, and support strategic business decisions. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in financial planning, budgeting, treasury management, risk assessment, MIS reporting, and statutory compliance while driving operational excellence across finance functions.

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Planning & Control:

- Manage and oversee the organization's cash flow, treasury, and financial resources.

- Develop annual budgets, financial forecasts, and long-term financial plans.

- Monitor financial performance against budgets and recommend corrective actions.

- Prepare, analyze, and present Profit & Loss (P&L), MIS, and financial reports for senior management and promoters.

- Evaluate cost structures and identify opportunities for cost optimization and profitability improvement.

Accounting & Financial Reporting:

- Ensure timely preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.

- Prepare financial and regulatory reports in compliance with applicable laws and corporate policies.

- Monitor accounting processes to ensure accuracy and integrity of financial data.

- Evaluate financial reporting systems and recommend process improvements.

Treasury & Cash Flow Management:

- Oversee treasury operations and liquidity management.

- Monitor cash flow and working capital requirements.

- Manage banking relationships and financial instruments.

- Ensure effective utilization of financial resources.

Risk Management & Compliance:

- Develop and implement financial controls to safeguard organizational assets.

- Oversee internal controls, compliance, and audit processes.

- Assess financial, operational, and investment risks and recommend mitigation strategies.

- Coordinate with internal and external auditors.

- Ensure compliance with statutory, regulatory, and tax requirements.

Credit & Investment Management:

- Evaluate financial data to assess business performance and future financial health.

- Review and approve credit proposals, loan applications, and financing arrangements.

- Analyze investment opportunities and their potential business impact.

- Monitor collection reports and outstanding receivables.

Insurance & Asset Protection:

- Plan and manage corporate risk and insurance programs.

- Coordinate insurance negotiations with brokers and carriers.

- Establish procedures for safeguarding financial assets, records, and securities.

Leadership & Stakeholder Management:

- Lead, mentor, and develop the finance team.

- Participate in recruitment, performance management, and capability development.

- Collaborate with business leaders to support strategic initiatives.

- Communicate financial insights to promoters, investors, and other stakeholders.

- Build strong relationships with banks, financial institutions, auditors, and regulatory authorities.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, or a related discipline.

- CA, CMA, MBA (Finance), or equivalent professional qualification preferred.

- Experience in ERP implementation and financial systems is highly desirable.

- Strong understanding of accounting standards, taxation, compliance, and financial regulations.

- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, ERP platforms, and financial reporting tools.

Candidate Profile:

- Experience: 3-8 years in Finance, Accounting, Controllership, or Financial Management.

- Strong expertise in P&L management, treasury, budgeting, MIS reporting, and financial controls.

- Experience in manufacturing, trading, FMCG, infrastructure, or multinational organizations will be an advantage.

- Excellent analytical, leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

- Ability to work in a fast-paced, multi-location business environment.
