About the Opportunity:

HireInfinity Consulting LLP is hiring on behalf of a leading Financial Services organization seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Finance Controller to oversee financial operations, regulatory compliance, reporting, and business finance functions. This role offers an opportunity to work closely with senior leadership and contribute to the organizations financial strategy, governance, and sustainable growth.

The ideal candidate will possess strong financial management expertise, regulatory knowledge, and the ability to translate financial data into actionable business insights.

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Reporting & Management:

- Lead the preparation and review of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.

- Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting in compliance with applicable accounting standards and regulatory requirements.

- Develop and present Management Information System (MIS) reports, financial dashboards, and performance analytics for senior management.

- Oversee the organizations accounting operations, including general ledger management, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and reconciliations.

- Ensure the integrity and accuracy of financial records and reporting processes.

Budgeting, Forecasting & Financial Planning:

- Drive annual budgeting, financial planning, and forecasting activities.

- Monitor business performance against budgets and financial targets.

- Conduct variance analysis and provide recommendations to improve financial performance and operational efficiency.

- Support strategic financial planning initiatives and business expansion activities.

Regulatory Compliance & Risk Management:

- Ensure compliance with applicable financial regulations, tax requirements, and statutory obligations.

- Establish and strengthen internal controls, financial governance frameworks, and risk management processes.

- Coordinate internal audits, statutory audits, and regulatory reviews.

- Liaise with auditors, tax consultants, financial institutions, and regulatory authorities as required.

Treasury & Cash Flow Management:

- Monitor cash flow, liquidity positions, and working capital requirements.

- Manage banking relationships and treasury operations.

- Support funding, investment, and capital management activities.

- Develop strategies to optimize cash utilization and financial efficiency.

Strategic Finance Support:

- Provide financial analysis and insights to support key business decisions.

- Evaluate business performance, profitability, and investment opportunities.

- Partner with leadership teams to identify cost optimization and revenue enhancement opportunities.

- Support strategic projects, financial due diligence, and business growth initiatives.

Leadership & Stakeholder Management:

- Lead and mentor finance team members, ensuring high standards of performance and accountability.

- Promote continuous learning, process improvement, and operational excellence within the finance function.

- Collaborate effectively with cross-functional stakeholders and senior management.

Candidate Profile:

Qualifications:

- Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification is mandatory.

- Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, or a related discipline.

Experience:

- 3 - 6 years of post-qualification experience in finance, accounting, controllership, audit, or financial reporting roles.

- Experience within Financial Services, NBFCs, FinTech, Wealth Management, Investment Advisory, Lending, or related sectors will be preferred.

- Exposure to regulatory compliance and financial controls within a regulated environment is highly desirable.

Technical Skills:

- Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting standards, and taxation.

- Experience with ERP systems and financial reporting tools.

- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial analysis.

- Ability to develop meaningful MIS reports and management dashboards.
