Finance Controller

We are looking for an experienced and strategic finance professional to lead end-to-end Finance and Accounting functions for the organization. The ideal candidate should possess strong expertise in Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A), accounting operations, audits, taxation, treasury management, internal controls, and investor relations.

This is a leadership role requiring strong commercial acumen, governance orientation, and the ability to partner closely with business and leadership teams to drive financial performance, compliance, and strategic growth initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead end-to-end Finance and Accounting functions including General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Treasury, and financial operations.

- Drive Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A), budgeting, forecasting, business planning, and variance analysis initiatives.

- Ensure timely and accurate preparation of financial statements in compliance with applicable accounting standards and regulatory requirements.

- Manage statutory audits, internal audits, and coordinate with external auditors, tax authorities, banks, and regulatory bodies.

- Oversee direct and indirect taxation including GST, income tax, TDS, regulatory filings, and compliance management.

- Strengthen and monitor internal controls, governance frameworks, compliance standards, and risk management practices.

- Support senior leadership with financial insights, MIS reporting, business analysis, and strategic recommendations.

- Manage cash flow planning, treasury operations, working capital optimization, and funding requirements.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive operational efficiency, cost optimization, and process improvement initiatives.

- Lead and mentor finance teams while ensuring high performance, capability development, and succession planning.

- Support investor relations activities including financial presentations, reporting, business reviews, and stakeholder communication.

- Drive financial discipline, profitability improvement, and business performance management across functions.

Desired Candidate Profile:

- Strong expertise in Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A), Accounting, Taxation, Audits, and Treasury Management.

- Hands-on experience managing General Ledger, AP, AR, cash flow, and financial reporting functions.

- Strong understanding of statutory compliance, internal controls, governance, and risk management practices.

- Experience handling direct and indirect taxation including GST and income tax regulations.

- Strong analytical, business partnering, and financial strategy capabilities.

- Experience working closely with senior leadership and external stakeholders.

- Strong stakeholder management, communication, and leadership skills.

- Ability to work in fast-paced and high-growth business environments.

- Experience in Investor Relations and strategic finance initiatives will be an added advantage.

Preferred Skills:

- Experience with ERP systems and financial reporting tools.

- Exposure to business transformation, process automation, and operational finance initiatives

preferred.

- Strong understanding of accounting standards, regulatory frameworks, and compliance

requirements.
