Roles and Responsibilities:

- Lead the Finance function, overseeing accounting, reporting, and financial operations.

- Drive monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.

- Analyse financial performance, including profitability, margins, and cost structures, and provide actionable insights.

- Support budgeting and forecasting, tracking performance against plans and highlighting key variances.

- Strengthen internal controls and compliance frameworks to ensure adherence to regulatory and statutory requirements.

- Manage cash flow, working capital, and liquidity, including receivables, payables, and inventory.

- Partner with business teams to drive cost control and operational efficiency, especially across retail operations.

- Oversee tax compliance and filings, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.

- Support audits and coordinate with external auditors and advisors.

- Act as a finance partner to leadership, providing inputs on business expansion, new projects, and investments.

Skills and Qualifications:

- Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA).

- 3-8 years of experience in finance, controllership, or accounting roles.

- Strong understanding of financial reporting, budgeting, and compliance frameworks.

- Experience in high-volume / multi-location business environments preferred.

- Strong knowledge of inventory management, cost control, and working capital management.

- Proficiency in Tally and advanced Excel.

- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.

Strong Preferences:

- Candidates from retail, QSR, FMCG, or other consumer-facing, transaction-heavy industries.

- Prior experience handling large-scale operations, inventory-heavy businesses, or multi-location financial consolidation.
