Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Finance Controller to lead the financial operations and strategic planning of our fast-growing business. This role will be responsible for overseeing financial reporting, budgeting, compliance, and internal controls-ensuring alignment with both regulatory standards and organizational goals.

Responsibilities:

1. Financial Management & Reporting

- Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closings in accordance with Ind AS and statutory requirements.

- Prepare consolidated financial statements for group entities and project-based revenues.

- Monitor project-wise P&L, cost allocation, and revenue recognition in alignment with EPC/O&M contracts.

2. Budgeting & Forecasting

- Lead the annual budgeting process; track variances and analyze trends across business units (Systems, Spares, O&M).

- Develop financial models

3. Internal Controls & Audit

- Implement and enhance internal controls and compliance frameworks (SOX-like).

- Liaise with statutory, internal, and tax auditors to ensure timely closure and clean audit reports.

4. Working Capital & Cash Flow

- Monitor working capital cycles: receivables, inventory, payables.

- Optimize cash flow management for EPC projects and O&M contracts.

5. Taxation & Regulatory Compliance

- Oversee GST, TDS, and other statutory filings and reconciliations.

- Ensure compliance with FEMA, Companies Act, SEBI LODR (if listed), and other applicable regulations.

6. ERP & Automation

- Drive finance digitization and process automation via ERP (SAP/Oracle/NetSuite or equivalent).

- Streamline MIS reporting and dashboard creation for top management.

Qualifications:

- Qualified CA with 5 to 8 years of strong expertise in FPNA and controllership.

- Strong knowledge of Ind AS, costing, and contract accounting

- Hands-on experience in working capital optimization and treasury
