Job Title: Finance Controller

Location: Raipur, Chhattisgarh

Department: Finance & Accounts

Reporting To: CFO / Founders

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly analytical, detail-oriented, and proactive Finance Controller to lead and manage all financial planning, budgeting, compliance, and reporting activities. You will be responsible for building strong internal controls, driving financial discipline, and providing strategic financial guidance to support business growth.

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Planning & Analysis

- Develop, implement, and monitor annual budgets, forecasts, and strategic plans

- Analyze financial performance, provide actionable insights, and highlight variances

- Drive cost optimization strategies across departments

Accounting & Reporting

- Oversee daily accounting operations and ensure timely closing of books

- Ensure accurate preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements

- Ensure statutory compliance with tax, GST, TDS, and regulatory filings

Controls & Compliance

- Establish robust internal controls, audit trails, and risk management processes

- Liaise with external auditors, consultants, and regulatory authorities

- Maintain compliance with Indian Accounting Standards (Ind AS)

Cash Flow & Treasury

- Monitor daily cash flow and working capital requirements

- Manage banking relationships, loan negotiations, and fund allocations

Team Leadership

- Lead, mentor, and manage the finance and accounts team

- Foster a culture of accountability, accuracy, and continuous improvement

Qualifications & Requirements:

- Education: Chartered Accountant (CA) mandatory; MBA Finance is a plus

- Experience: 7-12 years in financial leadership roles; preference for candidates with

experience in FMCG, D2C, or manufacturing

- Strong knowledge of ERP systems (Tally, SAP, or similar)

- Proficiency in financial modeling, MIS, Excel, and data analytics

- High integrity, strategic thinking, and operational excellence mindset

- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
