Role Overview:
As a Finance Control & Accounting professional, you will be instrumental in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our financial data, playing a vital role in the financial health of the organization. Your day-to-day activities will involve managing accounting processes, conducting financial analysis, and contributing to budgeting and forecasting. You will collaborate closely with various teams, including operations, sales, and other finance functions, to provide financial insights and support informed decision-making. Your work will directly impact the company's ability to effectively manage its resources, maintain compliance, and achieve its financial goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the month-end closing process, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting for internal and external stakeholders.
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, providing insightful variance analysis to management for performance evaluation and strategic planning.
- Develop and maintain budgets and forecasts, collaborating with department heads to align financial plans with business objectives.
- Implement and monitor internal controls, safeguarding company assets and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
- Conduct cost accounting activities, analyzing production costs and identifying opportunities for cost reduction and efficiency improvements.
- Support internal and external audits, providing necessary documentation and explanations to ensure a smooth audit process.
- Assist in the development and implementation of accounting policies and procedures, ensuring consistency and best practices across the organization.
Required Skillset:
- Demonstrated ability to perform financial analysis, interpret financial data, and provide actionable insights.
- Proven skills in financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting, with a strong understanding of accounting principles (GAAP or IFRS).
- Experience in implementing and maintaining internal controls to mitigate financial risks.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Adaptable to an on-site work environment in Navi Mumbai, Mumbai.
