A leading global multinational organization is looking for an experienced Finance Business Partner to support its commercial/sales organization. The role will partner closely with Sales, Service, Business Unit Leaders and Country Leadership to drive profitable growth through financial planning, commercial analysis and strategic decision support.

Key Responsibilities:

Business Partnering:

- Act as the finance partner to Sales, Service and Business Leaders.

- Provide financial insights to support strategic and operational decision-making.

- Challenge business assumptions and influence commercial decisions using financial data.

- Partner with leadership to improve revenue growth, profitability, working capital and operational efficiency.

Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A):

- Lead the annual budgeting, quarterly forecasting and long-range planning processes.

- Prepare monthly business reviews and management presentations.

- Develop financial models to support business initiatives and investment decisions.

- Monitor actual performance against budgets and forecasts.

Commercial Finance:

- Analyze sales, product, customer and service profitability.

- Evaluate pricing strategies, discount structures, commercial proposals and large bids.

- Support business cases for new products, projects and market initiatives.

- Recommend actions to improve gross margins, recurring service revenue and overall business performance.

Performance & Working Capital Management:

- Track key financial and commercial KPIs.

- Conduct variance analysis and identify key business drivers.

- Monitor inventory levels, inventory ageing, slow-moving/dead stock, spare parts and working capital performance.

- Support receivables management, cash flow improvement and inventory optimization.

- Develop dashboards and management reports and drive corrective actions to improve financial performance.

Business Analysis:

- Analyze market trends, customer profitability, product mix, channel performance, service contracts and Annual Maintenance Contracts (AMCs).

- Identify opportunities for revenue enhancement, cost optimization and margin improvement.

- Support strategic initiatives, business transformation and continuous improvement projects.

- Evaluate investment proposals and monitor return on investment.

Cross-functional Collaboration:

- Work closely with Sales, Service, Marketing, Supply Chain, Operations and HR teams.

- Support month-end and quarter-end business reviews.

- Collaborate with Accounting and Controllership teams to ensure accurate financial reporting.

- Ensure alignment between commercial objectives and financial goals.

Desired Candidate Profile:

- CA / CMA / MBA (Finance) from a reputed institution.

- 10-15 years of progressive experience in FP&A, Commercial Finance or Finance Business Partnering.

- Experience supporting a sales or commercial organization within a multinational company.

- Strong expertise in budgeting, forecasting, financial modelling, profitability analysis, inventory management and business performance management.

- Good understanding of P&L, balance sheet, cash flow and working capital drivers.

- Strong analytical, stakeholder management and communication skills.

- Ability to influence senior business leaders through data-driven recommendations.

- Experience with SAP, Oracle or other ERP systems.

- Advanced Excel and Power BI/Tableau knowledge will be an advantage.

Preferred Industry Experience:

- Experience in industrial automation, engineering, capital equipment, industrial products, manufacturing, technology or other B2B multinational organizations will be preferred.
