Finance Business Partner - eCommerce

Role Overview

We are seeking a high-impact Finance Business Partner to work closely with senior business leaders and drive strategic, data-backed decision-making. This role combines financial planning, forecasting, performance management, and strategic advisory, playing a critical part in ensuring sustainable and profitable growth.

The ideal candidate will act as a trusted advisor to business heads, translating complex financial data into clear, actionable insights.

Key Responsibilities (KRAs)

Strategic Decision Support:

- Partner with business leaders to evaluate business proposals, investments, pricing strategies, and growth initiatives

- Provide financial insights to support strategic planning and decision-making

Financial Planning & Forecasting:

- Own annual budgets, forecasts, and long-range plans for assigned business units

- Track actuals vs plan, analyse variances, and present clear explanations

- Proactively identify risks and opportunities ahead of financial results

Performance Management & KPIs:

- Define, track, and analyse key business KPIs such as Revenue, Margins, CAC, LTV, Contribution Margin, and EBITDA

- Drive performance accountability by highlighting what's working and what's not

Pricing & Cost Optimisation

- Support pricing decisions and evaluate unit economics

- Identify opportunities for cost optimisation while ensuring growth remains profitable and sustainable

Business Partnering & Stakeholder Management"

- Act as a trusted advisor to business heads and cross-functional leaders

- Translate complex financial analyses into simple, actionable insights for non-finance stakeholders

- Support leadership with timely, accurate, and decision-oriented reporting

Candidate Profile:

- CA / MBA (Finance) / CFA with 5+ years of relevant experience in FP&A, Business Finance, or Strategic Finance

- Strong hands-on expertise in Excel, financial modelling, dashboards, and MIS reporting

- Solid business acumen with the ability to understand commercial drivers

- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving business environment
