Role Summary

The Business Finance Manager will be responsible for end-to-end finance operations, financial planning and analysis (FP&A), budgeting, and controlling functions. Partnering closely with cross-functional leadership teams, this role will drive financial strategies, ensure regulatory compliance, and support business decisions that promote sustainable growth.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead the preparation and analysis of budgets, forecasts, and financial plans to support business objectives.

- Conduct detailed financial analysis to identify trends, risks, and opportunities and provide actionable insights to business leaders.

- Manage month-end and year-end financial closing activities, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.

- Collaborate with leadership to develop long-term business finance strategies, monitor performance, and optimize cost structures.

- Oversee cash flow management, working capital optimization, and capital expenditure controls.

- Ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements, internal policies, and audit processes.

- Prepare and present financial reports, variance analysis, and dashboards for senior management.

- Drive process improvements in financial controls, reporting accuracy, and efficiency.

- Guide and support the finance team as required for financial operations and systems.

Required Qualifications & Experience

- Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification required.

- 4 to 10 years of relevant experience, preferably in retail, footwear, or allied industries.

- Extensive experience in financial planning & analysis (FP&A), budgeting, controlling, and compliance.

- Proven ability to work with leadership teams to influence financial decisions and strategies.

- Strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.

- Proficiency in ERP and financial reporting tools.
