Our technology-first approach focuses on leveraging data for intelligent supply chain management, inventory optimization, and hyper-personalized consumer experiences across our growing portfolio of over 8 digital brands.
The Role
We are looking for a highly analytical and ambitious Finance & Strategy Analyst to join our central Portfolio Management team. This is a crucial, high-visibility role at the intersection of Finance, Corporate Development, and Operations. You will not only manage the financial integrity of the existing brands but also drive the strategic evaluation of future growth opportunities and M&A targets. The ideal candidate thrives on complexity, loves data, and can translate financial metrics into clear, actionable business strategies.
Key Responsibilities
1. Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) and Reporting:
- Own the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial models, budgets, and forecasts for the entire portfolio of D2C brands.
- Conduct rigorous variance analysis (Actuals vs. Budget) to identify key drivers of performance and deviation at the brand level.
- Develop and standardize management information system (MIS) reports for the leadership team, focused on key operational and financial health metrics.
2. Strategy and Business Decision Support:
- Lead deep-dive financial analysis on critical business levers, including the profitability of key categories, the efficiency of promotional spend, and the return on capital deployed for inventory.
- Analyze and track Unit Economics across the portfolio, focusing relentlessly on improving key D2C metrics like LTV:CAC ratio, Average Order Value (AOV), and Customer Payback Period.
- Provide financial modeling and advisory support to cross-functional teams (Operations, Merchandising, Marketing) to drive efficiency and margin expansion.
3. Corporate Development and M&A Support:
- Assist in the financial evaluation and due diligence of potential new brand acquisitions, building detailed valuation models (DCF, Multiples) and synergy assessments.
- Prepare compelling internal and external presentations for the Board and prospective investors detailing the performance, financial health, and strategic growth trajectory of the House of Brands.
What You'll Bring (Required Skills and Experience)
Education: An MBA/PGDM from a Tier-1 institute (IIM, ISB, etc.) or a professional finance qualification (CA, CFA) is strongly preferred.
Experience: 1 to 3 years of post-qualification experience in a relevant field such as Investment Banking, Management Consulting, Corporate Finance, or Strategy in a high-growth tech or e-commerce company.
Technical Mastery: Exceptional expertise in Advanced Excel modeling and financial statement analysis. Proficiency in SQL or BI tools (Power BI/Tableau) is a significant advantage.
Domain Knowledge: A strong understanding of the D2C/E-commerce business model, including core concepts like supply chain finance, inventory valuation, and digital marketing economics.
Communication: Proven ability to synthesize complex financial data into concise, strategic narratives and present findings clearly to senior executives.
