Finance & Operations Strategy Lead

Work Mode: 6 days/week from office; frequent outlet travel

Reporting: C-Suite

Team: Lead an 8-member pan-India finance team

Key Responsibilities

1. Outlet-Level Financial Planning

- Build target P&L models for each outlet

- Define profitability benchmarks & cost-control parameters

- Partner with operations/kitchen teams to achieve forecast goals

2. Cash Flow & Capital Management

- Prepare cash flow projections and manage liquidity across outlets

- Lead Capex planning for new outlet setups

- Allocate investment capital across multiple expansion projects

3. Budgeting & Forecasting

- Own Capex & Opex budgeting cycles

- Create data-backed sales, cost & margin forecasts

- Build scenario-based financial projections to support expansion

4. Automation & Process Improvement

- Reduce/eliminate manual intervention in production planning

- Implement systems for real-time stock, production & dispatch data

- Drive adoption of financial automation tools and dashboards

5. Financial Governance & Controllership

- Establish strong internal controls across all outlets

- Ensure statutory compliance and audit readiness

- Maintain accuracy & discipline in financial reporting

6. Hands-On Execution

- Build financial models from scratch; deep modelling expertise

- Collaborate directly with operations, marketing & kitchen teams

- Monitor business KPIs & adjust strategies proactively

Required Skills:

- Strong controllership, cost management, profitability analysis

- Advanced financial modelling & Excel

- Preferably proficient in BI tools (Power BI, Tableau)

- Experience in cash flow management, Capex/Opex budgeting, project finance

- Exposure to automation, ERP, and data analytics tools

- Ability to thrive in high-growth, entrepreneurial environments
