Finance & Credit Controller - CA

About the Role:

We are hiring a Finance & Credit Controller for a growing investment fund. The role requires a strong finance professional with experience in fund accounting, SEBI regulations, financial controls, and credit portfolio monitoring.

Key Responsibilities:

Fund Accounting & Operations:

- Coordinate with fund accountants for NAV, investor reporting, reconciliations, and financial statements.

- Ensure smooth functioning of fund operations and reporting processes.

- Liaise with auditors, custodians, trustees, and tax advisors.

Financial Accounting & Controls:

- Oversee accounting and bookkeeping on Tally.

- Ensure strong accounting controls, reconciliations, audit readiness, and timely closures.

- Monitor cash flows, expenses, and financial reporting accuracy.

SEBI Compliance & Regulatory Monitoring:

- Track SEBI AIF regulations and regulatory changes.

- Maintain compliance calendars and support regulatory filings/reporting.

- Drive a strong compliance-oriented control environment.

Credit Portfolio Monitoring:

- Monitor lending portfolio performance, repayments, covenant compliance, and portfolio quality.

- Prepare MIS and portfolio monitoring reports for management.

- Coordinate on stressed accounts and risk tracking.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

- Qualified CA with 7-8 years PQE.

Strong understanding of:

- Fund Accounting

- SEBI/AIF Regulations

- Financial Accounting & Controls

- Tally

- Credit/Lending Portfolio Monitoring

- High ownership mindset with strong attention to detail and compliance orientation.

- Prior experience in AIFs, NBFCs, Credit Funds, PMS, or Financial Services platforms preferred.
