Role Overview:
We are looking for a Finance & Compliance Manager to lead financial operations, statutory compliance, and strategic financial planning. This role requires a strong blend of accounting expertise, regulatory knowledge, and business partnering ability to support leadership in driving growth and financial governance.
Key Responsibilities:
Financial Leadership & Strategy:
- Partner with leadership to drive financial planning and decision-making.
- Monitor costs and improve profitability through data-driven insights.
- Build MIS, dashboards, and reporting frameworks for business visibility.
Accounting & Financial Reporting:
- Oversee end-to-end accounting operations (GL, AP/AR, inventory, revenue recognition).
- Ensure accurate and timely preparation of financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow).
- Strengthen internal controls and financial governance.
Compliance & Taxation:
- Ensure compliance with GST, TDS, Income Tax, and other statutory regulations.
- Manage FEMA compliance for cross-border transactions.
- Oversee transfer pricing and regulatory reporting.
- Stay updated with regulatory changes and implement necessary actions.
Planning, Budgeting & Analysis:
- Lead budgeting and forecasting processes.
- Track financial performance and analyze variances.
- Provide actionable insights to improve efficiency and profitability.
Audit & Risk Management:
- Coordinate with statutory auditors and ensure audit readiness.
- Identify risks and implement control measures.
- Improve financial processes and compliance frameworks.
Stakeholder & Investor Management:
- Handle investor reporting and queries.
- Coordinate with auditors, tax consultants, and advisors.
- Prepare reports and presentations for senior leadership.
Global Exposure (Preferred):
- Manage compliance for overseas entities (if applicable).
- Handle foreign remittances and forex-related transactions.
Key Skills & Competencies:
- Strong knowledge of financial accounting, reporting, and compliance.
- Expertise in GST, TDS, FEMA, and taxation.
- Experience in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
- Strong understanding of audits, internal controls, and risk management.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
- High ownership, integrity, and attention to detail.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Education:
- Chartered Accountant (preferred).
