Role Overview:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Finance & Accounts professional to join our dynamic team in Mumbai. In this role, you will be responsible for managing various aspects of financial accounting, reporting, and compliance. You will collaborate closely with internal teams, including operations, sales, and management, as well as external stakeholders such as auditors and tax consultants. Your contributions will ensure the accuracy and integrity of our financial data, supporting informed decision-making and driving the company's financial success.

Key Responsibilities:

- Manage the day-to-day accounting operations, ensuring accurate and timely recording of financial transactions for the organization.

- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements for internal and external stakeholders.

- Coordinate and support the statutory audit process, working with external auditors to ensure compliance and timely completion of audits for regulatory bodies.

- Develop and monitor budgets and forecasts, providing insightful analysis and recommendations to management for effective financial planning and control for the organization.

- Ensure compliance with all applicable tax laws and regulations, including GST, TDS, and income tax, for the company.

- Implement and maintain robust internal controls to safeguard company assets and prevent financial irregularities for the organization.

- Prepare and file accurate and timely GST returns, ensuring compliance with GST regulations and optimizing input tax credit for the company.

Required Skillset:

- Proven ability to manage end-to-end accounting processes, including journal entries, reconciliations, and financial statement preparation.

- Demonstrated expertise in financial reporting, with a strong understanding of accounting standards (e.g., IFRS, Ind AS).

- Experience in coordinating and supporting statutory audits, including preparing audit schedules and addressing auditor queries.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret financial data and provide actionable insights.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.

- Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; a professional accounting qualification (e.g., CA, CPA) is preferred.

- Adaptable to a fast-paced, on-site work environment in Mumbai.
