Job Title: Finance & Accounts Manager Real Estate Projects

Location: South Bombay

Travel: Not Required

Experience: 710 years (with at least 3 years in Real Estate preferred)

Role Overview:

As a Finance & Accounts Manager, you will oversee all financial and accounting functions related to our clients real estate development projects. This includes budgeting, forecasting, cost control, compliance, and reporting. The role demands close collaboration with lawyers, banks, government authorities, project managers, and contractors to ensure complete financial transparency and control across the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Financial Planning & Analysis:

- Develop and manage project budgets, including forecasting and variance analysis.

- Conduct financial modeling to assess feasibility, profitability, and investment performance.

- Provide data-driven insights for management decisions.

2. Accounting & Reporting:

- Oversee accurate maintenance of accounting records and ledgers.

- Ensure timely submission of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.

- Maintain compliance with Ind AS, IGAAP, and regulatory standards.

3. Cost & Cash Flow Management:

- Monitor and control project costs to stay within approved budgets.

- Prepare and manage cash flow forecasts, ensuring liquidity for ongoing operations.

- Supervise receivables and vendor payments, ensuring financial discipline.

4. Compliance & Audit Coordination:

- Ensure compliance with RERA, GST, TDS, and other financial regulations.

- Coordinate with internal and external auditors, prepare documentation, and address audit queries.

- Implement robust internal controls to safeguard financial assets.

5. Risk Management & Governance:

- Identify financial and operational risks within projects.

- Develop mitigation strategies and ensure adequate insurance coverage.

- Maintain governance standards aligned with company policy and statutory norms.

6. Stakeholder & Investor Management:

- Liaise with lawyers, banks, government bodies, and contractors for financial matters.

- Report project performance and financial status to management and investors.

- Offer insights and recommendations for long-term strategic decisions.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

Education: B.Com / CA / CWA / Inter-qualified.

Experience: 710 years in finance & accounting, with minimum 3 years in real estate project finance.

Strong understanding of Ind AS, IGAAP, GST, TDS, and local tax regulations.

Proficiency in Tally, SAP, or Oracle, and advanced Excel skills.

Familiarity with RERA compliance and real estate financial structures.

Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and multitasking abilities.

High integrity, strong ethics, and a proactive, self-directed work approach.

Preferred Attributes:

- Exposure to land acquisition accounting and project funding.

- Experience in working with banks, financial institutions, and auditors.

- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work cross-functionally.
