Role Overview:
The Strategy Team is looking for a sharp, analytical and high-ownership professional to work on high-impact strategic initiatives across organic and inorganic growth.
This role is suited for someone who enjoys solving complex business problems, working with data, evaluating market opportunities, and supporting leadership on strategic decisions. The person will work closely with senior leadership, product, operations, finance and business teams, with direct exposure to the C-Suite.
The ideal candidate should come from a strong academic background, preferably a Tier 1 undergraduate institution, and should have 12 years of experience in finance, strategy, consulting, investment banking, M&A, deal advisory, corporate finance, or similar analytical roles.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work on strategic projects linked to business growth, market expansion, operating performance and inorganic opportunities.
- Support organic and inorganic growth initiatives, including market scans, competitor benchmarking, opportunity assessment and business case preparation.
- Conduct data-backed analysis to support key business and leadership decisions.
- Build financial models, business models, scenario analyses and strategic recommendation notes.
- Evaluate potential acquisition, partnership, investment or expansion opportunities.
- Prepare leadership presentations, strategy decks, investment notes, market research documents and decision-support materials.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams across leadership, product, operations, finance and business teams.
- Track market trends, competitive activity and sector developments relevant to growth priorities.
- Support the C-Suite and senior strategy leaders on high-priority strategic initiatives.
Candidate Requirements:
Must-Have Criteria:
- 1 - 2 years of full-time work experience in finance, strategy, consulting, investment banking, M&A, deal advisory, corporate finance, transaction advisory or similar analytical roles.
- Strong academic background, preferably from a Tier 1 undergraduate institution.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving and structured thinking ability.
- Comfort with data, financial analysis, business modelling and presentation building.
- Ability to work with senior stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
- High ownership mindset, execution orientation and bias for action.
- Strong communication and business writing skills.
Strongly Preferred:
- CA qualification with strong academic performance, preferably CA rank holder / double-digit rank holder.
- Post-qualification experience in Big 4 deals, M&A, investment banking, corporate finance, transaction advisory or valuation teams.
- Prior exposure to M&A, investment evaluation, fundraise support, market entry, growth strategy or business transformation projects.
- MBA from a top-tier institute is acceptable but not mandatory.
