FinAGG Technologies - Head - Data Management

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced and strategic Head - Data Team to lead our Data & Analytics function in a fast-growing fintech organization. The ideal candidate will be responsible for building scalable data capabilities, driving business intelligence, automating reporting, and delivering actionable insights that support strategic decision-making. This role requires close collaboration with the CFO, Risk, Business, Product, and Technology teams to enable data-driven growth and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead and manage the organization's Data & Analytics function.

- Develop and execute the enterprise data strategy aligned with business goals.

- Build and maintain dashboards, MIS reports, and executive reporting.

- Design scalable data pipelines and automate reporting processes.

- Ensure data quality, governance, and consistency across business functions.

- Analyze lending portfolio performance and business metrics to provide strategic insights.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver data-driven solutions.

- Mentor and lead the data team while promoting best practices in analytics and reporting.

Skillset:

- 7-10 years of experience in Data Analytics, Business Intelligence, or Data Engineering, with 4-5 years in BFSI, FinTech, Lending, or Financial Services.

- Strong expertise in SQL with proficiency in Python or R.

- Deep understanding of lending concepts including EMI, DPD, LTV, NPA, POS, and Co-lending models.

- Hands-on experience with BI and visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, Metabase, or Looker.

- Experience in dashboard development, reporting automation, and data pipeline management.

- Strong knowledge of data quality, governance, and business intelligence best practices.

- Exposure to GST data, Bank Statement Analysis, and cloud data platforms such as BigQuery, Snowflake, or Amazon Redshift is preferred.

- Familiarity with RBI Digital Lending Guidelines is an added advantage.

- Experience working in a high-growth fintech startup environment is desirable.

- Strong analytical, problem-solving, stakeholder management, and communication skills.

- Proven ability to collaborate with senior leadership and cross-functional teams to drive data-backed business decisions.
