Role Overview:
As a Manager/Senior Manager for US Accounting, you will lead complex financial engagements and oversee the end-to-end accounting lifecycle for our US clients. This role involves managing high-performing teams to deliver accurate financial reporting, consolidation, and reconciliation services while acting as a primary point of contact for stakeholders. You will play a critical role in ensuring the integrity of financial statements and providing actionable insights that influence client business outcomes and strategic decision-making.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the month-end and year-end closing processes to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting for US-based entities.
- Manage complex consolidation activities and multi-entity reconciliations to maintain the highest standards of financial data integrity.
- Lead the Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions, optimizing cash flow management and vendor/client relations.
- Review and finalize financial statements, ensuring strict adherence to US GAAP and relevant regulatory requirements.
- Mentor and guide team members to foster technical excellence and ensure the delivery of high-quality accounting services.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and external auditors to streamline financial processes and resolve complex accounting queries.
Required Skillset:
- Demonstrated expertise in US GAAP accounting, financial reporting, and the preparation of complex financial statements.
- Proven ability to manage full-cycle accounting operations, including consolidation, reconciliation, and ledger management.
- Strong leadership capabilities with the ability to manage, mentor, and motivate teams in a fast-paced professional services environment.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interface with US-based clients and internal stakeholders regarding financial performance.
- Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) or CPA with 3 to 13 years of relevant experience in US accounting practices.
- High proficiency in financial software and ERP systems, with an analytical mindset to solve complex accounting challenges.
- Ability to work effectively in a hybrid setup based out of our Bangalore office, maintaining high standards of productivity and collaboration.
