Job Summary:

The Finacle Project Manager will be responsible for planning, executing, and delivering Finacle banking software projects on time, within scope, and within budget.

This role involves coordinating with multiple stakeholders, including business users, IT teams, vendors, and external consultants, to ensure successful implementation, upgrades, or enhancements of the Finacle Core Banking system.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, milestones, resource allocation, and risk mitigation strategies.

- Track and report project progress, ensuring timely delivery of objectives.

- Manage changes to project scope, schedule, and resources effectively.

- Act as the primary point of contact between the bank, vendors (e.g., Infosys), and internal IT teams.

- Facilitate communication and coordination among business users, technical teams, and third-party vendors.

- Lead cross-functional teams to ensure proper utilization of resources.

- Assign tasks, monitor performance, and provide guidance to team members.

- Identify potential risks, issues, and dependencies and develop mitigation plans.

- Escalate critical issues to senior management promptly.

- Oversee Finacle Core Banking system implementations, upgrades, and module integrations.

- Ensure adherence to best practices, compliance, and quality standards.

- Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including requirement specifications, design documents, and testing reports.

- Prepare periodic project status reports for senior management and stakeholders.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

- MBA is a plus.

- Minimum 4-6 years of project management experience in banking/financial IT projects.

- Strong experience in Finacle Core Banking implementations/upgrades is mandatory.

- Proficiency in project management tools like MS Project, Jira, or equivalent.

- Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.

- Knowledge of banking processes and regulatory compliance requirements.

- PMP or Prince2 certification is a plus
