Job Description:

We are looking for a highly skilled Lead Technical Business Analyst Master Data Management (MDM) to lead enterprise master data initiatives and drive data quality, governance, and business transformation programs. The ideal candidate will act as the bridge between business stakeholders and technology teams, translating complex business requirements into scalable MDM solutions while ensuring data consistency, integrity, and governance across the organization.

This role requires strong expertise in Master Data Management, Data Governance, Data Quality, SQL, and stakeholder management, along with the ability to work across multiple business functions and technology teams.

Key Responsibilities:

- Partner with business stakeholders to understand data-related challenges and define MDM requirements aligned with business objectives.

- Gather, analyze, document, and prioritize functional and technical requirements for Master Data Management initiatives.

- Lead workshops with business users, architects, and development teams to define data governance standards and business rules.

- Design and document end-to-end business processes, data flows, and functional specifications for MDM implementations.

- Drive data quality improvement initiatives by identifying data inconsistencies, duplicates, and integrity issues.

- Perform data profiling, root cause analysis, and impact assessments to improve enterprise data quality.

- Collaborate with solution architects and development teams during MDM solution design and implementation.

- Define master data models, data hierarchies, relationships, validation rules, and stewardship processes.

- Support data migration, data cleansing, matching, merging, and survivorship rule definition.

- Work closely with integration teams to ensure seamless data exchange across enterprise applications.

- Develop business process documentation, user stories, acceptance criteria, and functional specifications.

- Participate in sprint planning, backlog grooming, UAT, and production rollout activities.

- Coordinate with QA teams to validate business requirements and ensure successful solution delivery.

- Monitor MDM performance metrics, data quality KPIs, and governance compliance.

- Identify opportunities for process optimization and automation across enterprise data management initiatives.

- Mentor junior business analysts and contribute to continuous improvement of BA practices.

Required Skills:

- Strong understanding of Master Data Management (MDM) concepts and best practices.

- Hands-on experience with enterprise MDM platforms such as Informatica MDM, SAP MDG, Reltio, Oracle MDM, IBM InfoSphere MDM, or Semarchy.

- Strong experience in Data Governance frameworks and data stewardship.

- Expertise in Data Quality Management and Data Profiling.

- Excellent SQL skills for data analysis and validation.

- Experience in Data Modelling, Entity Relationship Modelling (ERD), and metadata management.

- Knowledge of Data Integration concepts, ETL processes, and enterprise system integration.

- Experience working with APIs, data mapping, and system interfaces.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Ability to translate business requirements into technical specifications.

- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.

- Experience working in Agile/Scrum delivery environments.
