About Your Team:
This is an opportunity to be part of a team dedicated to ensuring firm wide coordination of change, including strategic prioritisation, firm wide governance and the setting and monitoring of change standards and KPIs to ensure that change activity across the firm is aligned to strategy and delivers value for money.
About Your Role:
- The ISS Financial Analyst will be responsible for delivering financial PMO services to FILs ISS business supporting and enabling the effective delivery of their change portfolios.
- Working with colleagues in the ISS Finance team, the broader PMO team and across the business, the PMO Analyst will support the systems and processes to manage the change portfolio in line with the Enterprise Change Framework for Change Financials (CTB).
Financials:
- Support the CTB financial management processes across the portfolio in partnership with the Financial team and other cross pillar colleagues.
(CE, GPS)
- Understanding the financial process and monthly lifecycle to support key activities within the team
- Own the monthly reviews of project variance analysis across the ISS portfolio
Procurement Management and Support:
- Working with stakeholders on change programmes, procurement planning, PO creation, tracking and oversight.
- Support user queries.
- Support problem solving.
- Support with regular refreshes of data into PEAC for monthly forecasting, updates to the headcount supply and ISS Single View of Change
- Provide insights and recommendations based on the financial data to support decision making
- Build strong relationships with ISS Delivery stakeholders, Procurement, Finance, Business Management and the ECPMO teams
- Working collaboratively with ISS PMO team and portfolio stakeholders to ensure projects are adhering to the Enterprise Change Framework with regards to financial management.
- Supporting change practioners through sharing best practice for good financial management across change projects.
- Promote consistency and best practice across the ISS change portfolio of projects and wider pillar partners (ISS/CE).
- Assist in preparing reports and presentations for Senior Stakeholders.
About You:
- We are looking for a desirable candidate who is eager to learn and grow in the PMO space.
- You should be confident to ask questions with a willingness to challenge status quo on the portfolio and its management to solve challenges in the running of the portfolio.
- Be a problem solver with accuracy and insight, work with the PMO team and the programmes to solve complex situations with clear actions and outcomes even if they are not initially apparent.
- This is a busy, strong and fast paced team and it is essential that we all pull together and collaborate to meet the team objectives so collaborative skills and adaption are essential.
- Experience of PMO services, programme/portfolio management, and financials planning and analysis in large organisation.
- Experience of PPM tools (Clarity), MS Excel, Power BI, Power query
- A detailed understanding of the change process, agile and waterfall methodologies, procurement process, portfolio governance, change risk management, benefit management, budget management, headcount/position management, workforce planning, and resource management will be required.
- Excellent communication skills including an ability to establish a strong rapport, communicate and influence.
- Excellent planning and organisational skills, able to focus on the key goals and manage path deviations creatively and with minimum confusion.
- Able to work in a fast moving, dynamic, rapidly changing environment.
- Able to work effectively under pressure and to tight deadlines with a strong desire to improve and make things happen.
- Strong continuous learning desire and capabilities.
- Sound business and technical understanding - Finance industry knowledge preferably within investment management, wealth management or investment platforms.
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of the team
