Description:
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, and financial controls to ensure the health of the organizations finances in Brazil.
- Partner with leadership to develop and execute business strategies that drive growth and profitability.
- Ensure accurate, timely preparation and submission of financial statements and management reports, compliant with local standards.
- Identify financial and operational risks and establish mitigation strategies.
- Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing finance team.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key internal and external stakeholders, including auditors, banks, and regulatory authorities.
- Ensure adherence to all regulatory and compliance requirements applicable in Brazil.
Requirements:
- Strong track record in financial management, reporting, and compliance.
- Proven experience with strategic planning and risk management in a complex business environment.
- Ability to lead and develop teams effectively.
- Exposure to working with business partners and regulatory bodies.
- Knowledge of regulatory and compliance frameworks in Brazil.
- Knowledge of Portuguese is preferred but not essential.
- The selected candidate must be willing to learn Portuguese on the job, as: All documents and reports are in Portuguese.
- Systems must be designed and implemented to support both Portuguese and English.
