Job Description:

Role & Responsibilities:

Learning Strategy & Capability Development:

- Develop and implement the organization's Learning & Development strategy aligned with business objectives.

- Build annual learning calendars and competency development roadmaps for plant and corporate employees.

- Identify current and future capability requirements through Training Needs Analysis (TNA).

- Drive initiatives that enhance organizational capability, productivity, quality, safety, and operational excellence.

Training & Development:

- Design and execute technical, behaviour, functional, leadership, and compliance training programs.

- Lead induction and onboarding learning programs for new employees.

- Develop structured learning journeys for operators, engineers, supervisors, managers, and leadership teams.

- Introduce blended learning methodologies, including classroom, digital learning, e-learning, and on-the-job development.

Leadership Development:

- Design and implement leadership development programs for high-potential employees and successors.

- Establish coaching and mentoring frameworks across the organization.

- Support succession planning through targeted development initiatives.

Competency Management:

- Develop and maintain competency frameworks across functions and roles.

- Conduct competency assessments and identify development interventions.

- Collaborate with business leaders to address skill gaps through structured learning programs.

Performance & Talent Development:

- Partner with HR Business Partners and business leaders to integrate learning initiatives with the performance management process.

- Support Individual Development Plans (IDPs) and career development initiatives.

- Drive talent development programs to strengthen internal talent pipelines.

Manufacturing Excellence:

- Develop capability-building programs supporting Lean Manufacturing, TPM, Six Sigma, Kaizen, 5S, Quality Management Systems, and Safety Excellence.

- Coordinate technical certifications and skill enhancement programs for shop-floor employees.

- Promote continuous improvement through knowledge-sharing initiatives.

Learning Governance:

- Establish L&D policies, processes, budgets, and governance frameworks.

- Manage training budgets and optimize learning investments.

- Track training effectiveness using defined KPIs and ROI methodologies.

- Maintain training records and ensure statutory training compliance where applicable.

Stakeholder & Vendor Management:

- Build relationships with external training partners, institutes, consultants, and certification bodies.

- Evaluate and onboard training vendors based on business requirements.

- Collaborate with plant leadership and functional heads to ensure effective execution of learning initiatives.

Digital Learning:

- Drive adoption of Learning Management Systems (LMS) and digital learning platforms.

- Introduce innovative learning technologies and analytics to improve learning effectiveness.

- Monitor learning metrics and prepare dashboards for leadership review.
