About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and strategic Senior Assistant Director Media & Communications to lead the creation and management of compelling communication content across multiple platforms. This role demands a creative storyteller with a deep understanding of media strategies, digital communications, and content development to enhance our brand visibility and engagement both internally and externally.

You will be responsible for overseeing editorial operations, managing social media strategies, and ensuring consistent, high-quality messaging that aligns with organizational goals.

Key Responsibilities:

Content Development:

- Create, edit, and proofread a wide range of communication materials, including newsletters, brochures, leaflets, reports, and outdoor advertising collateral to ensure clarity, accuracy, and brand consistency.

- Develop engaging and high-impact content for both external audiences and internal stakeholders, adapting style and tone to suit different communication channels and target groups.

- Lead editorial operations for publications and website content; contribute articles, blogs, stories, and research papers that reinforce the organization's mission and values.

Campaign and Project Communication:

- Collaborate with project teams to develop tailored communication materials and campaigns that effectively promote individual projects and initiatives.

- Design and execute creative communication campaigns that enhance public awareness and stakeholder engagement.

Social Media Strategy and Management:

- Develop and implement cutting-edge social media strategies to organically and inorganically grow audience reach across platforms such as Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and LinkedIn.

- Oversee content calendar management, ensuring timely and consistent delivery of posts, stories, videos, and other multimedia content.

- Analyze social media performance metrics and adjust strategies to maximize engagement and impact.

Vendor and Technology Management:

- Liaise with external vendors to evaluate, procure, and implement new communication technologies and solutions that enhance content delivery and audience interaction.

- Stay updated on emerging media tools and platforms, recommending innovative solutions to improve communication effectiveness.

Strategic Input and Collaboration:

- Contribute to the development of overall communication and implementation plans in alignment with organizational objectives.

- Participate actively in organizational initiatives, including planning meetings, review discussions, and performance appraisal processes.

- Foster cross-departmental collaboration to ensure unified messaging and integrated communication efforts.

Additional Duties:

- Perform any other tasks and responsibilities as assigned by senior management, demonstrating flexibility and a proactive approach.

Required Qualifications:

- Bachelors /master's degree in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, Marketing, or a related field.

- Minimum 5-6 years of professional experience in media, communications, or content management, preferably in a leadership or senior role.

- Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills with a keen eye for detail.

- Proven expertise in managing social media platforms, including content strategy, audience growth, and analytics.

- Strong understanding of digital marketing, SEO, and multimedia content creation.

- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage and influence diverse stakeholders.

- Experience managing external vendors and working with new communication technologies.

- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines under pressure.
