Job Role: REGISTRATION AND REGULATORY AFFAIRS

Essential Qualification: B.Sc. (Agri) or related branch of study
Desirable Qualification: PG/Masters Degree
Age Group (Years): Preferably below 45 years
Work Experience (Years): Minimum 15 years work experience in similar role
Role Summary:
The incumbent shall manage all interactions with Central and State Government bodies, Regulatory agencies, and industry associations and responsible for registration of Customized Fertilizers, Bio-stimulant and Crop Nutrition products with Ministry of Agriculture & Farmer Welfare, Government of India.
Role & Responsibilities:
1. Regulatory Compliance:
- Stay updated on all relevant laws, regulations, and guidelines pertaining to agricultural products, including fertilizers, pesticides, seeds, and other Agri-inputs.
- Ensure compliance with registration requirements for new products and accountable for new product registrations and the renewal of existing registrations.
- Coordinate, Compile and prepare documentation, dossiers, and submissions required for submission at competent registration authorities for product registrations, including technical data, safety evaluations, and efficacy studies.
- Monitor changes in regulations and advise internal stakeholders on potential impacts and necessary actions.
2. Government Liaison:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for all interactions with government agencies, regulatory bodies, and industry associations regarding registrations and regulatory affairs.
- Establish and maintain positive relationships with relevant authorities and stakeholders to facilitate smooth and timely approvals.
- Represent the company in meetings, hearings, and negotiations with regulatory agencies, ensuring our interests are effectively communicated and advocated for.
3. Documentation and Record Keeping:
- Maintain accurate records of all regulatory submissions, approvals, and correspondence with regulatory authorities.
- Maintain information management system for getting an update at any given point of time for any regulatory related activity.
- Develop and implement processes for efficient documentation management, ensuring compliance with record-keeping requirements.
4. Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Collaborate closely with internal departments such as Research & Development, Quality Assurance, Sales & Marketing, and Supply Chain to ensure alignment of regulatory strategies with business objectives.
- Provide regulatory guidance and support to product development teams to ensure new products meet regulatory requirements from inception to commercialization.
5. Risk Management and Compliance Audits:
- Identify potential regulatory risks and propose mitigation strategies to ensure continued compliance.
- Conduct internal audits and assessments to evaluate compliance with regulatory requirements and standards.
Functional/ Technical Competencies:
- Proven work experience in regulatory affairs, product registrations, or related roles.
- In-depth knowledge of agricultural regulations, registration procedures, and industry standards.
- Strong understanding of scientific principles and ability to interpret technical data.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Proficiency in relevant software applications for document management and regulatory submissions.
- Flexibility to adapt to evolving regulatory requirements and business needs is essential.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage with internal teams and external stakeholders.
